Kismet Blanket

I knitted this blanket while I was renovating the house to turn it into Kismet Inn bed and breakfast, Spa. The pattern is taken from Kaffe Fassett's 'Glorious Knits' book. It is actually a pullover pattern but I decided to make it into a blanket. I knitted several sizes of the pullover pattern then knitted them together. For the backing, I used felt and the edges, I purchased wool, felted the wool then sewed it to the blanket by hand. The project took me months. Now I have it in my art gallery.
